Today, we performed the Eid al-Adha prayer together with many of our dear fellow countrymen in an atmosphere of unity, friendship, and solidarity in Philadelphia, USA.

Afterward, we joined our friends, relatives, and family members at one of the city’s beautiful green parks and held a small Eid gathering. Through this event, we tried to keep the spirit, joy, and excitement of Eid alive for our beloved children while living far from our homeland, and to create happy and unforgettable memories for them.

To preserve the excitement and special feelings of Eid for our children, we distributed Eid gifts (Eidi), asked them simple Eid and Islamic questions, and presented prizes to the winners. Although we are far from our homeland, through unity, love, and togetherness, we strive to preserve our culture, traditions, and the beauty of Eid for ourselves and for the younger generation.
