About Us
Our Story of Hope and Dedication

The Timur Cultural and Social Association is a non-profit and independent organization, founded by a group of intellectuals, scholars, social activists, and enthusiasts in the state of Pennsylvania, United States of America. Inspired by the rich history, culture, and identity of the Turks of Afghanistan (including Uzbeks, Turkmens, and other ethnic groups who consider themselves part of the great Turkic nation), the association has defined its mission as safeguarding, strengthening, and promoting these values among the immigrant community and future generations.

The Timur Association believes that the cultural and social identity of every nation and people is a lasting treasure that must be preserved and passed on under all circumstances. Although migration and distance from the homeland bring unique challenges, they can also serve as opportunities to strengthen solidarity, foster cultural revival, and build constructive connections between the immigrant community and the host society. On this basis, the Timur Association strives to create a dynamic and active platform for the growth and prosperity of the Turkic community of Afghanistan by drawing on the valuable experiences of its members and utilizing the educational, cultural, and social opportunities available in the United States.
